Buzz Aldrin
Edwin Eugene "Buzz" Aldrin Jr. (born 1930) is an American former astronaut and engineer. As lunar module pilot of Apollo 11 he became the second person to walk on the Moon, after Neil Armstrong, on 20 July 1969. Aldrin earned a doctorate in astronautics from MIT and flew on Gemini 12 in 1966, where he set a spacewalk record. He was a United States Air Force pilot before joining NASA in 1963.
