Kind:48106 guidelines carried only an `h` tag, while the harness subscribes with a mention-gated filter over kinds 9/46010/40007. The instructions posted at huddle start were therefore dropped twice over and never reached an agent, so agents ran their text-chat persona in voice — long, markdown-shaped replies read aloud over TTS. Tag each intended agent on the event so it passes the mention gate, and subscribe the kind. The gate itself stays on: the relay builds one merged filter per channel, so relaxing require_mention for 48106 would stop filtering kind:9 too and make agents respond to every message in every channel. Publish after enrollment rather than before, so the event is newer than each membership and arrives live or in the replay window instead of racing a 5s skew. Mid-huddle joiners get a re-post, having missed the original. Record guidelines as per-channel context rather than queueing them, so an agent never acknowledges its own instructions out loud, and repeat them each turn since sessions rotate on token limits and !rotate. Also ask for one sentence by default — the previous text allowed "a few sentences at most", which is still a monologue when spoken. Signed-off-by: Thomas Petersen <thomasp@squareup.com>
