- Added isImageFile() filter to all drop handlers (dropzone, collage,
file-upload-area) so PDFs and non-image files are rejected on drop.
Previously only the file picker's accept attribute filtered; drag-and-
drop accepted anything.
- Added ppm, pgm, pbm to CLI_DECODED_FORMATS in file-validation.ts.
These formats were missing, causing Sharp metadata checks to fail for
some files during batch validation, which silently dropped them from
results ("File not found in batch results").
- Added integration tests for PBM, PGM, PPM, TIFF, QOI, JP2, SVGZ
single-file processing, plus a test confirming PDF is rejected.
SERVER_PREVIEW_EXTENSIONS was missing TIFF, DDS, DPX, EPS, FITS, JP2,
PBM/PGM/PPM, QOI, SVGZ, CUR, and many RAW variants. The server
already had decoders for all of them but the client never triggered
the preview fetch, so users saw "Preview not available" instead.
Custom SVG showing a landscape image frame with a pencil overlay,
clearly communicating "edit image" instead of the vector pen tool
which read more as Illustrator than Photoshop.
Small bordered buttons with Minus/Plus icons flank the range slider,
allowing single-step quality adjustments. Disabled at min (1) and
max (100) boundaries.
The thumbnail strip expanded beyond the right pane because the flex
section lacked min-w-0, causing a page-level horizontal scrollbar.
Added min-w-0 to both mobile and desktop image area sections.
For non-previewable formats (DDS, TIFF, EXR, PSD, RAW, etc.), show a
file info card with format and size instead of passing the blob URL to
an img tag that fails and shows an infinite "Loading preview..." spinner.
Also changed the ImageViewer error state from a misleading spinner to a
static "Preview not available" message.
AVIF was missing from expandAccept() and every inline accept attribute,
causing the OS file picker to gray out .avif files. Drag-and-drop was
unaffected because it bypasses the accept filter. Added .avif to
dropzone.tsx expandAccept (covers all Dropzone pickers) plus 12 inline
accept strings across tool settings, pages, and file-upload-area.
- Remove duplicate "Files" heading (section header + inline count)
- Space "Show more" and "Clear all" apart on the same row
- Replace bare number input with number + KB/MB dropdown for target
size, defaulting to KB; MB values are converted to KB for the API
- Hide native number input spin buttons for a cleaner look
The before-after slider hardcoded a checkerboard background on the
entire "after" overlay, which filled letterbox/pillarbox space around
non-transparent images. Replaced with a neutral bg-muted/30.
In image-viewer, moved the checkerboard from the outer container
(which included padding) to the img element itself, so it only
shows through transparent pixels rather than the surrounding area.
Replace the single-file pill with a full file list showing name
(truncated), format badge, and size for each file. First 5 files
are visible by default with a "show more" toggle for the rest.
Clicking a file selects it in the viewer. Applies to all tools.
Google requires favicons to be a multiple of 48px. The previous 32x32
favicon.png was being ignored, causing the generic globe icon in search
results. Adds favicon.ico (multi-size), apple-touch-icon, and fixes
og:image to use absolute URLs.

inverted mask to full canvas dimensions instead of staying within old bounds
- Remove editor from AppLayout so it owns the full viewport with no sidebar/padding
- Add back-arrow in menu bar for navigation, restyle menu bar to match native app feel
- Slim left toolbar from 48px to 36px with smaller icons and subtler dividers
- Fix options bar overlapping canvas via shrink-0 and overflow-hidden
- Fix opacity/blend controls clipping in right panel with min-w-0 on flex children
- Add global range slider CSS for consistent thin-track + round-thumb styling
- Make meme template routes public so img tags can load without Bearer auth
- Show pipeline export buttons in default compact view, not just expanded hover
- Queue individual AI feature installs instead of erroring when one is active
Recovers expanded export format support from orphaned commit 80961c01
and PSD export from b07ecd5. The editor export dialog now supports 7
formats (PNG, JPEG, WebP client-side; AVIF, TIFF, GIF, JXL via server
conversion). PSD export uses ImageMagick on the backend.
Add import button to saved pipelines section with file picker,
validation, and error display with auto-dismiss. Section now
always renders with empty state text when no pipelines exist.
- Replace bg-popover with bg-card for dropdown backgrounds (popover CSS
variable is not defined in this project's theme)
- Move menu bar test to tests/e2e-editor/ and adapt for editorPage fixture
- Fix click-outside test to handle welcome screen overlay
Recovers the editor menu bar (File/Edit/Image/Layer/Select/Filter/View)
from orphaned commit b07ecd5 that was lost during a rebase. Integrates
it into the current editor-page layout with PSD/TGA/EXR/HDR file open
support and new document dialog.
- fix WebP export silently producing PNG when background is non-transparent
- fix autosave not converting blob: URLs inside image-type canvas objects
- fix project load not resetting selection/crop/clipboard state
- fix rotateCanvas not updating object rotation attributes
- fix flipCanvas not negating object rotation attributes
- fix line shadow props overridden by effect spread ordering
- fix "outside" stroke position rendering same as "center"
- add missing pencil tool keyboard shortcut (N)
- remove misleading resample dropdown from image resize dialog
- fix E2E autosave tests for production builds (no Vite dynamic imports)
- fix color picker test case sensitivity (CSS uppercase vs DOM text)
- add 4 unit tests for rotation attribute transforms
- Preview font size now calculated from actual container width, not viewport
- Preview stroke scales proportionally with font size (4% ratio)
- Server stroke reduced from 6% to 4% to match preview
- Added ResizeObserver to track container width for accurate sizing
- Added paint-order: stroke fill to CSS preview for consistent rendering
- Auto font size now capped at min(200, boxHeight/2, boxWidth/3) to prevent
oversized text on server render
- Text vertically centered within each text box
- Sidebar color labels shortened (Text/Stroke) with min-w-0 to prevent overflow
The containerType: inline-size CSS containment prevented the image from
expanding its parent container, causing the preview to render at 0x0px.
Removed inline-block and containerType, switched font sizing to vw units.
The meme generator had everything in one component crammed into the
narrow right sidebar. This splits it into the proper two-panel
architecture (like collage/qr-generate):
- meme-store.ts: shared Zustand store for all meme state and actions
- meme-generator-preview.tsx: ResultsPanel (main area) with gallery,
layout picker, editor preview with CSS text overlay, and result view
- meme-generator-settings.tsx: Settings sidebar with text inputs, font
picker, colors, alignment, and generate button
- tool-registry.tsx: adds ResultsPanel to the meme-generator entry
Also fixes text overlay sizing (reduced from 0.6cqi to 0.45cqi with
smaller stroke width) and moves font injection to a standalone function
callable from either component.
Canvas rendering:
- Fix Konva filter application order (filters before cache)

- rotate/flip/trim handle line/arrow points arrays and center-based objects
- applyCrop creates cropped source image via offscreen canvas
- invertSelection creates mask from bounds when no mask exists
- cutObjects uses single atomic set() to prevent race conditions
- sendToBack respects layer ordering in multi-layer documents
- Add batchNudge() and commitHistory() for undoable nudge operations
- Add updateLayerThumbnail() method

- Fix zoom animation coordinate drift with progressive store sync
- Fix copy merged to use Konva stage composite export
Tests:
- 49 new unit tests (store fixes + konva filters)
- 8 new E2E test files with 39 test cases
Root cause analysis of the magic wand bug revealed the same dispatch
pattern affected 13 other tools:
- 8 tools (eyedropper, clone stamp, dodge, burn, sponge, blur brush,
sharpen brush, smudge) had hook implementations but were never
imported or wired into the canvas toolMap -- clicking did nothing
- Selection type (rect/ellipse/lasso) was never synced from the global
activeTool to the selection hook's internal state, so marquee-ellipse
and lasso tools always produced rectangular selections
- Selection drag preview was hardcoded to Rect instead of using the
existing ActiveSelectionPreview component
- Zoom tool click did nothing (now zooms in on click, out on alt+click)
- Magic wand dispatched to generic selection drag instead of flood fill
- CropOverlay: rendered in its own Layer when crop tool is active,
cropState auto-initialized when switching to crop tool
- SelectionOverlay: marching ants rendered for active selections,
selection tool mouse events dispatched through canvas handler
- TransformToolTransformer: rendered when transform tool is active
- Selection tool handlers wired for marquee-rect, marquee-ellipse,
lasso-free, lasso-poly, and magic-wand tools
- Active selection preview rect shown while dragging
- CropOverlay: rendered in its own Layer when crop tool is active,
cropState auto-initialized when switching to crop tool
- SelectionOverlay: marching ants rendered for active selections,
selection tool mouse events dispatched through canvas handler
- TransformToolTransformer: rendered when transform tool is active
- Selection tool handlers wired for marquee-rect, marquee-ellipse,
lasso-free, lasso-poly, and magic-wand tools
- Active selection preview rect shown while dragging
- Marquee: BoxSelect (dotted rectangle) instead of Square

- Sponge: Droplets instead of Sun (was same as Dodge)
- Shape: Hexagon instead of Square (was same as Marquee)
- Reorder groups to match standard Photoshop toolbar layout
- Merge Crop + Eyedropper into one group
- Separate Eraser into its own group
The default-view redirect in HomePage fired on every mount, not just the
initial page load. A module-level flag now gates the redirect so it only
applies once per session, allowing users to switch to sidebar view when
grid is the default.
Closes#128
Brush and eraser mouseUp handlers were bumping _historyVersion a second
time (after addObject already bumped it in mouseDown). This created a
ghost history entry whose objects array held the same reference as the
current state. On undo, zundo restored that identical reference, so
zustand's Object.is selector equality saw no change and skipped the
canvas re-render -- the stroke stayed visible even though the history
panel moved backward.
Remove the redundant _historyVersion increment from both mouseUp
handlers. The addObject call in mouseDown already records the correct
pre-stroke snapshot. mouseUp now only patches lastAction for the
history label without creating a new temporal entry.
The install prompt and error messages were showing the underlying AI
bundle name (e.g. "Background Removal") instead of the actual tool name
(e.g. "Passport Photo"). Now the UI shows the correct tool name and
description while still installing the correct bundle behind the scenes.
Closes#130
