The docs version badge was reading from apps/docs/package.json which
gets out of sync during manual releases. Read from the monorepo root
package.json instead so it always matches the released version.
Rewrote all homepage CSS overrides from scratch:
- Brand name at 44px with gradient, subtitle at 34px (clear hierarchy)
- Feature cards at 14px/13px with 20px padding (readable, not cramped)
- 3-column feature grid with equal-height rows
- Removed VitePress 128px default gap before footer
- Trimmed Local AI feature description to balance card heights
Entire page fits in one viewport without scrolling.
The .name and .clip are the same element (class="name clip"), not
nested, so .name .clip selector never matched. Use .name.clip instead.
Also remove VitePress default 128px margin-bottom on .VPHome that was
pushing the footer below the viewport.
The hero title was left-aligned while tagline/buttons were centered,
creating a visual mismatch. Use flexbox centering on .VPHero .main to
align all hero elements. Bump font sizes slightly and equalize feature
card heights with height: 100%.
Reduce hero padding and font sizes, center tagline and action buttons,
switch feature cards from 2-column to 3-column grid, and tighten all
section spacing so the entire docs homepage is visible without scrolling.

Fold the sponsor call-to-action into the Contributing section as a
natural bullet point instead of a standalone heavy section. Remove
the large badge buttons. Keep star history chart under Contributing.
Add a pink "Fund Development" button component to the docs site nav
bar (left of Star on GitHub), matching the landing page style.
Remove the plain-text nav link that replaced the heart icon.
Add pink heart-styled "Fund Development" button to landing page
navbar (left of Star on GitHub) and mobile menu. Rename "Sponsor"
to "Fund Development" in the open-source section. Replace icon-only
heart in docs socialLinks with a named "Fund Development" nav link.
Remove Ko-fi from FUNDING.yml since GitHub Sponsors is now active.

- Update tool table with AI Canvas Expand, Meme Generator, Beautify
- Add image editor, OIDC, and 20 languages to README features
- Add release notes for v1.17.0
- Add JSON-LD structured data and SEO improvements to landing/docs
ai-canvas-expand was added to constants.ts and route files but never
added to the landing page bento grid, causing all hardcoded counts
to remain at 51. This updates all references across source, docs,
i18n, and tests to reflect the correct count of 52 tools.
Google requires favicons to be a multiple of 48px. The previous 32x32
favicon.png was being ignored, causing the generic globe icon in search
results. Adds favicon.ico (multi-size), apple-touch-icon, and fixes
og:image to use absolute URLs.
Add beautify tool endpoint to OpenAPI spec with full parameter
documentation. Add tool to REST API docs Layout & Composition table.
Update tool count from 49 to 50 across README, docs homepage,
architecture docs, VitePress config, OpenAPI spec, and LLM docs
generator.

Pipeline steps and batch size are now unlimited by default. The old
"20 steps" and "200 images" figures had no basis in the actual code
(MAX_BATCH_SIZE already defaulted to 0/unlimited). Both remain
configurable via MAX_PIPELINE_STEPS and MAX_BATCH_SIZE env vars.
Also includes updated hardware requirements and sidebar nav from
prior documentation audit.
The torchvision compatibility shim for basicsr 1.4.2 was missing the
parent-package binding and only proxied a single attribute, causing
upscale and enhance-faces to fail at import time. The fix adds a
__getattr__ proxy for all attributes, binds the shim to the parent
package, and installs it in the dispatcher at startup for defense-in-depth.
Also removes unused anyInstalling variable, redundant `as any` cast,
and applies Biome formatting fixes across the codebase.
- Remove all lite/full variant logic from frontend, API, shared constants,
docs, and tests (single unified Docker image only)
- Replace single QEMU multi-arch Docker build with per-architecture native
builds (amd64 + arm64) and manifest merge to fix disk space exhaustion
- Add disk cleanup step and per-platform build cache scopes
- Switch release trigger from push to workflow_dispatch
- Add GitHub issue templates and PR template
Replace static llms.txt and llms-full.txt with auto-generated versions
that stay in sync with docs on every build. The plugin also generates
per-page .md files for individual page fetching by LLMs.
Remove socialLinks config and three-dots menu. Add appearance toggle
and combined GitHub + Star button directly in the navbar via layout
slot. The button shows the Octocat icon, "Star" label, and live
stargazer count.
Update all references across docs, workflows, UI components, and config
to point to the new GitHub org (stirling-image/stirling-image) and Docker
Hub account (stirlingimage/stirling-image) ahead of repo transfer.
Rewrite README to remove AI writing patterns (em dashes, promotional
language, vague claims). Make Quick Start section explicit about default
credentials and forced password change. Add Contributing section linking
to CONTRIBUTING.md, developer guide, and translation guide.
Create CONTRIBUTING.md with issue guidelines, PR workflow, commit
conventions, and development setup. Add developer guide (dev setup,
project structure, how to add a tool) and translation guide (how the
i18n system works, step-by-step for adding a language) to VitePress
docs. Register both new pages in the docs sidebar.
Add llms.txt and llms-full.txt links in the footer with
"AI-friendly docs" label. Also add link rel="llms-txt" head tag
for automatic discovery by AI tools.
